I received my PhD degree in biomedical science at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in New York, for work on disease modeling using induced pluripotent stem cells. I am now working on the mechanism of TGFβ induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition in development and cancer. Awards I have received include the AACR basic cancer research fellowship and the Charles Revson fellowship. Besides work, I enjoy being a mom and playing badminton and tennis.
