The Department of Sloan Kettering Institute (SKI) Administration is a critical part of the infrastructure that supports and enhances SKI’s outstanding scientific enterprise. Members of our staff work with the SKI Director and Program Chairs to develop and execute strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure that SKI achieves its research mission.
In addition, we provide coordinated support and services to the entire Memorial Sloan Kettering research community in collaboration with other administrative units and serve as a central source of information to the faculty, staff, and trainees.
The SKI Administration team supports researchers in a variety of ways. For example, we organize venues for collegial interaction, coordinate the recruitment and onboarding of faculty, staff the academic review process, and organize research seminar series and retreats. In addition, we administer training grants, plan research space, help train administrative lab assistants, and develop programs to support postdoctoral trainees.
