I received my PhD degree in biomedical sciences from University of California, San Diego, working on epigenetics, transcription, and DNA damage repair. I am currently developing highly sensitive in situ transcriptomics technology to identify tissue microenvironment–dependent alterations in rare cell populations, such as early-stage micrometastases, residual disease, and stem cells, that are important for normal physiology and pathology. In my free time, I like to read books and travel.
