Research Focus

My research focuses on developing rational combinations to overcome drug resistance in melanoma, lung and colorectal cancers. In particular, I explore pharmacological targeting and characterization of upstream-driven feedbacks of MAPK pathway. I study and characterize the response to KRAS G12C, SOS1 and SHP2 inhibitors alone or in combination with receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) or MEK inhibitors in different tumor types to determine the best response rate minimizing off-target effects.
