Get to Know Me

I’m a medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) who treats people with all types of breast cancer. I see patients at MSK Westchester.

I became a cancer doctor because I was fascinated by the science behind this rapidly changing field. But just as importantly, I wanted to be able to care for people during the most difficult time of their lives. 

I love getting to know my patients and focusing on you as a person, not just a diagnosis.  I am here to help you manage the emotional and social stress that can come with cancer. 

I feel strongly about making integrative medicine a part of your care, along with other treatments. This means including things like:

  • Yoga and meditation
  • Acupuncture
  • Nutrition and healthy eating
  • Exercise

When we combine these activities with your cancer treatment, it often leads to the best results and a better quality of life.

I am passionate about making sure everyone gets the same high-quality cancer care, no matter where they live. I worked at MSK’s office in Harlem, and I am now the director for our cancer program at Jamaica Hospital in Queens. In both places, I have worked to improve the quality of cancer care and make it easier for patients to get the care they need.

When I’m not seeing patients, I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures. I also love cooking, spending time with family and friends, and doing yoga and meditation.
