Arcascope, a leading digital health company specializing in sleep and circadian medicine, recently became the most recent company to join the MSK Innovation Hub in October 2024.

Arcascope will pilot test Arcasync, an app for monitoring and managing sleep and circadian rhythms to promote better sleep, energy levels, and overall health. The app works as a personalized sleep digital twin, helping users align daily routines with natural circadian rhythms. The study will seek to determine whether managing circadian rhythms can improve overall health and well-being in breast cancer patients as the primary end point.

“Our multidisciplinary research team at MSK is leading research investigating how optimizing lifestyles may synergize and improve the effectiveness of cancer therapies while also reducing symptoms. An important part of this strategy is to calibrate circadian rhythms and sleep patterns on an individual basis,” noted Neil Iyengar, MD, Breast Medical Oncologist and Director of the MSK Healthy Living program. “We are excited to collaborate with Arcascope to bring this cutting-edge research to patients with the convenience of a smartphone application.”

The pilot study will take place through the MSK Healthy Living Program, which is dedicated to empowering patients to improve their quality of life after breast cancer surgery and beyond through evidence-based, personalized wellness strategies.

“We are thrilled to bring Arcascope into the Healthy Living Program,” commented Sherry Shen, MD, Breast Medical Oncologist at MSK. “The collaboration with Arcascope aligns with the program’s mission, offering patients a new tool to manage their health more effectively.”
