Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified dermatologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), specializing in supportive oncodermatology. In this role, I care for patients suffering from a range of skin conditions due to their cancer treatments which may include chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, as well as targeted therapies. I have additional training in rheumatologic dermatology and inpatient dermatology.

I primarily see patients admitted to Memorial Hospital and in the clinics at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at MSK. Once a week, I also see patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Basking Ridge in New Jersey. My goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care that addresses both the physical challenges of cancer treatment and the emotional well-being of my patients. I am dedicated to creating personalized treatment approaches tailored to the specific needs of each patient.

All the staff and Dr. were great as always.

As usual with my experiences at MSK, the staff I dealt with during this appointment were all kind and generous with time and explanations. They all listened very well to everything I had to say. Dr. Mittal herself was extremely attentive and reassuring. She understood my condition and at last I had a real diagnosis, which amounted to my having nothing to worry about. Dr. Mital was the first doctor I've seen about this post-surgical condition (I've seen a few already) to be familiar with what is going on with unusual-looking skin color of my breast. She has seen such a thing before and predicts it will slowly go away with no treatment needed. And it is going away. I've stopped worrying about it!
