Roberto Lo Gullo, MD
Radiologist
My Role at MSKWe post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.
About Me
- Assistant Attending Radiologist
I am a board-certified radiologist with subspecialty expertise in breast and oncologic imaging. I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2021 after completing a fellowship in breast and body imaging here. Prior to coming to MSK, I practiced radiology in Milan, Italy, for six years.
At MSK, I am involved in clinical care, education, and research. I care for patients who are routinely screened for breast cancer, who are at a high risk for developing breast cancer, or who may have symptoms related to the breast. I participate in both screening and diagnostic mammography, including digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. I perform image-guided breast interventions, such as stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies, as well as preoperative radioactive seed localizations. I am also a member of the Body Imaging Service, for which I interpret body CT scans and radiographs.

I collaborate with my colleagues in breast surgery, oncology, pathology, and radiation oncology to provide the best care for people with cancer. Through my clinical practice and research efforts, I am committed to enhancing our understanding of breast cancer and advancing imaging techniques to improve early breast cancer detection and treatment.
A radiologist is a doctor with special training in using imaging to diagnose and treat disease. Imaging includes X-rays, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
