About Me

What I Do at MSK

I am a medical oncologist who cares for patients admitted to Memorial Hospital to receive cellular immunotherapy, a form of treatment that uses genetically engineered human immune cells to recognize and eliminate cancer. I also spend a significant amount of my time in the laboratory investigating the evolution of these immune cells and mechanisms of response and resistance in patients.

I aim to provide the highest quality care and help patients and their families feel comforted and confident in their treatment. In the laboratory, I aim to discover biological insights from patient samples that will contribute to our understanding of cancer biology and guide development of more effective cellular immunotherapies.

A cellular therapy specialist is a doctor with special training in using cell therapies to treat health conditions such as cancer. Therapies can include chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy.
