As a nurse practitioner on the Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma Services I help to manage the care of people who are receiving treatment on M12, (Memorial Hospital’s 12th floor). Among other responsibilities I handle complex medical problems and in some cases end-of-life issues.
I assist patients in managing their medications, provide prescriptions for a safe discharge, and assist other team members in carrying out procedures such as bone marrow biopsies.

I have been a part of caring for people with cancer in many setting since first joining Memorial Sloan Kettering in 1995 as an inpatient clinical nurse on the Thoracic Medical/Surgery Service. In 1999, I went to the outpatient setting to work as a clinical nurse administering chemotherapy to patients with genitourinary as well as head and neck cancers.
