I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Virginia, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I went on to work at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where I served as a registered nurse on the pediatric hematology/oncology bone marrow transplant unit for three years.

From there, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration on pediatric oncology. I currently work as a nurse practitioner on the pediatric bone marrow transplant team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
