I am a board-certified adult nurse practitioner with special training in thoracic surgery and thoracic cancers. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wagner College, and my Master of Science in Nursing at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing as an adult nurse practitioner.
I have been working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) since 2001 as a registered nurse (RN). I was initially on the thoracic inpatient unit and later transitioned to an outpatient office practice RN role supporting the thoracic surgery team.
I moved into an advanced practice provider (APP) role in 2010 and spend most of my time caring for patients who are working with MSK’s thoracic surgeons in our outpatient clinics. I also support the thoracic survivorship program when needed and see some patients independently.
Finally, I have an active role in MSK’s lung cancer screening program. In this program, we provide computed tomography (CT)-based screening to people who currently smoke or used to smoke and are at a high risk for developing lung cancer.
I have a true passion for and dedication to providing excellent care to patients and their families to help improve their quality of life throughout their cancer journey.
