I strive to be proactive in collaborating with physicians, patients, and families in creating the best possible outcomes for people undergoing bone marrow transplantation. My responsibilities include caring for individuals both before and after their transplants, and screening potential donors. As part of a collaborative team, I work to help improve outcomes and decrease risks for all people who come to us for care.

I help administer chemotherapy and manage the complex medical problems that can arise with transplantation.

I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2007, first as a clinical nurse specializing in the care of people with leukemia, lymphoma, and various hematologic malignancies. During my time as a nurse, I learned the significance of primary nursing care (a model of nursing that emphasizes continuity of care) and the positive effects that a strong practitioner-patient relationship can have on the outcome of treatment.

I am an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society as well as the Adult Nurse Practitioner’s Association. I look forward, through my future work and practice, to continue to contribute professionally to these organizations.
