Lymphoma Service

I am honored to say that I have been working as a nurse practitioner at Memorial Sloan Kettering since 1997. As a clinical research nurse practitioner, I work with lymphoma patients who are participating in research protocols. The patients I work with are receiving treatment on the forefront of cancer care.

It is my responsibility to safely manage and evaluate these individuals taking part in clinical trials by monitoring and treating side effects and complications that might arise. I also help ensure that the study procedures are implemented correctly and safely. Given that most patients visit us multiple times over the course of their participation in a trial, I get to know them very well. I enjoy working with all of them very much.

Most of my patients are participating in research trials by medical oncologist and hematologist John Gerecitano and medical oncologist Steven Horwitz; many have non-Hodgkin lymphoma or T cell lymphoma.

Prior to my involvement in clinical research, I worked as an inpatient nurse practitioner on the Bone Marrow Transplantation and Hematology Services. I provided care to inpatients with diagnoses such as amyloidosis, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and lymphoma.
