Description
People with cancer often experience a wide range of symptoms and side effects from treatment including pain, fatigue, insomnia, and stress. Ayurveda is an ancient healing system from India that may offer insight into managing these symptoms through proper diet, lifestyle, and yoga practices. It provides guidance on maintaining harmony in body and mind by following the rhythms of nature.
In this six-week series, you will discover your unique body constitution and learn how to integrate Ayurvedic wisdom into daily self-care for symptom management and improved quality of life. Yoga, the sister science of Ayurveda, complements these principles by promoting balance and wellness through postures, breathing exercises, and meditation, which will be integrated into the weekly class.
