Feeling Good! Reconnect to Your Body with Dance (workshop)

Share

Throughout your experience with cancer, you may experience your physical body in a different way, and this can be challenging mentally, emotionally, and physically. Dance/movement therapy can be a unique way to reconnect to your body and find a sense of inner strength and calm during or after the storm. It can support this process as you re-engage with your body safely and joyfully while connecting with experiences that may be difficult to describe in words.

In this workshop, an MSK dance/movement therapist will guide you through movement and body awareness exercises that may help you feel more at ease in your body and address emotions and thoughts about your experience in your body since your diagnosis. Through this workshop, the goal is to bring you to a place of awareness, forgiveness, and acceptance, where needed.
