Share

Many patients are faced with a long-term cancer diagnosis that impacts their health and all aspects of their day-to-day lives. Medical advances in cancer treatment and approaches to care have significantly improved the lives of long-term cancer patients by permitting them to maintain their daily activities while continuing their cancer care.

This event will review advances in cancer treatment for long-term cancer patients and explore the remaining challenges that these patients and their families face. You will hear from MSK practitioners in oncology, Nursing, Social Work and patients who are living with long-term cancer. Panelists will address issues such as maintaining quality of life, emotional and mental health support and resources, using clinical trials to expand treatment options, and exploring changing goals.
