Description
Ayurveda is an ancient healing system of India. Translated as “The Science of Life,” Ayurveda provides guidance on maintaining harmony in body and mind by following the rhythms of nature. In this six-week series, you explore the foundational principles of Ayurveda. This includes discovering your unique body constitution according to Ayurveda and learning how it can help support your health and wellbeing through proper choices in diet, lifestyle, and exercise. You will also learn how to integrate Ayurvedic wisdom into your daily self-care routine with a focus on self-massage and use of herbs/spices in cooking. Yoga, the sister science of Ayurveda, complements these principles by promoting balance and wellness through postures, breathing exercises, and meditation.
