Thousands of oncology experts from around the world will tune in April 27 and 28 for the American Association for Cancer Research’s (AACR) virtual annual meeting I. The meeting is the first of two virtual sessions, with clinical trial plenary sessions, clinical trial poster sessions, several minisymposia, and more. The AACR virtual annual meeting II will be held June 22 through 24.
This year’s theme, “Turning Science into Lifesaving Care,” celebrates the incredible science and research informing patient care. Shining a spotlight on new data and important discoveries, the virtual meeting will highlight basic, translational, and clinical research in the field and will include a special focus on COVID-19 and cancer, featuring Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) experts.
MSK physicians and scientists are involved in notable research to be presented at the meeting and are available to comment on topics including COVID-19, clinical trials, immunotherapy, and more. MSK experts Charles Sawyers, MD, and Louis Voigt, MD, will be featured in two of the meeting’s plenary sessions.
