The June 15 edition of “MSK Science Spotlight,” features Derek Tan, PhD discussing “A Drug Discovery Journey from Tuberculosis to Cancer.” Dr. Tan is Chair of Chemical Biology Program at the Sloan Kettering Institute and Director of Tri-Institutional PhD Program in Chemical Biology, one of the first graduate programs in the world to focus on research and training at the interface of chemistry and biology. His talk will highlight research efforts seeking to identify small-molecule probes and therapeutic lead compounds to address novel biological targets.
