Fundraising Events at MSK
Cycle for Survival’s 2022 Season and 2021 Allocations
Cycle for Survival is the movement to beat rare cancers. The 2022 season featured stationary-cycling events in 15 outdoor locations across the country in April and May. Instructors from Equinox, Cycle for Survival’s founding partner, led rides nationwide. In addition to the in-person events, a virtual event experience offered participants the opportunity to join in from any location.
This year, Cycle for Survival surpassed an incredible milestone: more than $300 million raised since 2007 to bring new and better treatment options to people with cancer around the world. All funds raised go to rare cancer research, clinical trials, and technology development at MSK. Within six months of the close of fundraising, donations are allocated to a wide-reaching research enterprise that includes the world’s best cancer scientists and doctors.

RBC Race for the Kids
The RBC Race for the Kids presented by New York Road Runners took place in Central Park on April 24. The four-mile run and 1.4-mile walk both support cancer research at MSK Kids. The funds raised through this family-friendly event help build a brighter future for young people facing cancer.
MSK Kids is proud to be the official charity partner of the RBC Race for the Kids, which has raised more than $50 million for kids and youth-focused causes since 2009. This year, donations will go directly toward labs at MSK, where scientists are working every day to bring new treatment options to children, teens, and young adults with cancer.
