I am a senior clinical social worker and ethics consultant at Memorial Sloan Kettering. I received a Masters of Science in Bioethics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. I have a certificate in bioethics and medical humanities from Montefiore-Einstein Center for Bioethics and trained at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies in New York City.
My clinical interests involve working with thoracic cancer patients and their families along the illness trajectory with a focus on end-of-life decision making and anticipatory bereavement. In addition, I help patients and families navigate the conflicts and ethical concerns that can arise around the end of life, including the use of life-sustaining treatments. My academic focus is in bioethics education and training of clinical staff.
