Emily Chumas is an Assistant General Counsel in the Office of Technology Development. She joined Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2021 and serves on the contracts unit handling pre-clinical research.

Prior to joining MSK, Emily worked as a litigation associate and clerked for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court. Her earlier experience includes working for Northwell Health’s Human Research Protection Program.

Emily received her JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration in Health Law, and her BA from New York University. She is admitted to the Connecticut State Bar and the US Court of Federal Claims, and is registered with the State of New York as In-House Corporate Counsel.
