I am a board certified medical physicist and the chief Physicist at the West Harrison regional site. I proudly lead a group of excellent physicists and planners to provide safe, efficient and effective clinical service, including treatment planning, physics quality assurance, plan checks, physics consultations, and implementing cutting edge, new techniques to the clinic.
I am an expert in motion management and the Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) for left-sided breast cancer. My research and clinical interests are focused on these two areas as well—trying to understand and manage various types of motion to improve the efficiency and accuracy of radiation treatment. I am interested in developing related clinical trials, bringing new technology to the clinic.
I received my PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2005. I am a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), and the American Society for Radiation Oncology. I am a member of AAPM working groups in IMRT and clinical trials. I joined MSKCC in 2014 and enjoy working here.
