I find science fascinating because it gives me the unique opportunity to understand and investigate complex concepts in detail. Broadly speaking, I am interested in how an improved understanding of developmental and cell biology can inform cancer research.
I chose Gerstner Sloan Kettering because of its close-knit research community, the individual attention given to each student, and the impressive research interests of the faculty. One of my favorite parts about the program is the intersection between basic and translational science. Pursuing my PhD here will help further my scientific research and my efforts to achieve my career goals, whether in academia or industry.
