Molecular Pharmacology Program
Neal Rosen Lab Group
Neal Rosen, MD, PhD
Pharmacologist Neal Rosen focuses on understanding biochemical mechanisms underlying phenotypes caused by tyrosine kinase activation in epithelial tumors and developing new therapeutic strategies.
Molecular Pharmacology Program
The David Scheinberg Lab
David A. Scheinberg, MD, PhD
Molecular Pharmacology Program Member David Scheinberg focuses on the discovery and development of novel, specific immunotherapeutic agents and targeted nanodevices for cancer therapy.
Immunology Program
Andrea Schietinger lab
Andrea Schietinger, PhD
Cancer Immunologist Andrea Schietinger investigates immune responses to cancer, molecular mechanisms underlying tumor-induced T cell dysfunction, and new approaches for cancer immunotherapy.
Cancer Biology & Genetics Program
Mara Sherman, PhD
The Mara Sherman lab aims to understand the heterocellular interactions among pancreatic cancer cells and their surrounding microenvironment, and to target these networks for therapeutic benefit.
Memorial Hospital Research Laboratories
Samuel Singer, MD, FACS
Physician-scientist Samuel Singer studies the genomic alterations that define new targets for therapy in sarcoma. I am a surgical oncologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue sarcoma. I have extensive experience with this group of cancers, and am one of just a few surgeons in the world focused solely on treating sarcoma patients. My years of experience have enabled me to devise surgical techniques that improve the ability to completely remove these tumors. In addition to my clinical sarcoma practice, I conduct laboratory research to develop new methods to improve the diagnosis and treatment of sarcoma. I lead both a National Cancer Institute Specialized Program in Research Excellence (SPORE) and the Sarcoma Genome Project.
Human Oncology & Pathogenesis Program
The David Solit Lab
David B. Solit, MD
Physician-scientist David Solit studies human oncology and pathogenesis, genomics, oncogenes and tumor suppressors, cancer therapeutics, and clinical trials.
Memorial Hospital Research Laboratories
Tabar Lab
Viviane Tabar, MD
Physician-scientist Viviane Tabar focuses on stem cells as tools for brain repair and for modeling brain cancer.
Memorial Hospital Research Laboratories
Laura H. Tang, MD, PhD
Physician-scientist Laura Tang studies the molecular pathogenesis of cell transformation in neuroendocrine neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas and adenocarcinomas of the stomach and gastrointestinal junction.
Hospital Research Teams
Sunitha B. Thakur, PhD
Medical physicist Sunitha Thakur focuses on MR biomarkers for early detection and monitoring response to treatment.
Human Oncology & Pathogenesis Program
Asmin Tulpule, MD, PhD
The Tulpule lab studies how cells compartmentalize critical cellular processes with a focus on biomolecular condensates in cancer.
