DNA Typewriter (Choi et al. 2022):

We created a platform that records the sequence of molecular events onto cellular DNA using precision genome editing. By using a specially designed DNA Tape and CRISPR Prime Editing, the DNA Typewriter can be programmed for sequential genome editing, where the identity, order, and intensity of molecular events can be recorded in living mammalian cells. Importantly, DNA Typewriter can be programmed to record past cell lineage information at high resolution.
