Get to Know Me

I am a medical oncologist with expertise in the treatment of pancreatic, hepatobiliary, and other gastrointestinal cancers.

My research is focused on two areas: first, the discovery and implementation of biomarkers for the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, and second, the development of more-effective treatments for pancreatic cancer. My research program is funded by the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health, the Lustgarten Foundation, and the Thompson Family Foundation.

What I Do at MSK

A gastrointestinal (GAS-troh-in-TES-tih-nul) medical oncologist is a cancer doctor who specializes in gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. This includes anal, colorectal, esophageal, gastric (stomach), liver, and pancreatic cancers, as well as GI stromal tumors and neuroendocrine tumors.
