I am a board-certified internist and medical oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of people with a wide variety of solid cancers, with a special expertise and interest in lung cancer and melanoma.

As an active member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s thoracic disease management team, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, interventional radiologists, and pathologists to bring exceptional care to patients closer to home in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

After completing my fellowship training in medical oncology and hematology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, I joined the faculty of MSK Basking Ridge in 2013. Here in Basking Ridge, we offer comprehensive and compassionate cancer care for those who wish to be treated in closer proximity to their homes. In addition to all the services offered here at our state-of-the-art facility in Basking Ridge, patients have full access to the resources and expertise provided by MSK’s Manhattan location.

In my clinic, my team and I focus on tailoring cancer therapy and personalizing care for each patient. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of cancers including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted agents, and surgery. I work closely with radiation oncology and thoracic surgery in Basking Ridge, coordinating care and establishing treatment plans that are individual yet adhere to the same standard of excellence that is followed across the MSK system.

In addition to my work as a clinician, I also actively enroll patients in research studies available in Basking Ridge and facilitate entry into clinical trials available only in Manhattan. I participate in weekly thoracic cancer conferences, which include multispecialty experts to discuss patient management and help provide the highest quality of care. 

I am proud to be part of MSK Basking Ridge. A cancer diagnosis presents many challenges, and my goals are to provide compassionate, high-quality care for all of my patients in a convenient setting.

In addition to English and Hindi, I am also fluent in Punjabi and Urdu.

A thoracic medical oncologist is a cancer doctor who specializes in thoracic (thor-A-sik) cancers. These are cancers that have to do with the chest, including lung, tracheal (windpipe), and thymic (thymus) cancers.
