Get to Know Me

I am a physician with specialty training in emergency and palliative medicine. As member of the Supportive Care Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, my goal is to help my patients achieve the best quality of life at any stage of illness and treatment.

After spending several years practicing emergency medicine, I recognized the challenges of delivering medical care to people experiencing health crises that was aligned with their values and priorities. This led me to pursue training in hospice and palliative medicine, where our patients and their loved ones are at the center of everything we do.

Together with a team of nurses, a social worker, chaplain, and pharmacist, we aim to deliver expert medical care in pain and symptom management. We also provide psychosocial support to the patient, family, and their caregivers. In addition, I assist with advance care planning and related discussions to ensure that my patients receive the medical care and attention that aligns with their unique values and preferences, even during times of crisis.
