I am a board-certified radiation oncologist who specializes in treating gynecologic cancers such as cervical cancer, uterine (endometrial) cancer, and ovarian cancer as well as breast cancer and prostate and bladder cancers. I also have expertise in treating sarcoma, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.

I use advanced radiation techniques, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, and high dose rate intravaginal brachytherapy.

I am proud and honored to be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides top-notch care to people with cancer. I strive to provide compassionate care to all of my patients and keep active and open communication with them as well as with all referring physicians. I attend several weekly multidisciplinary conferences and participate in discussions regarding optimal, individualized treatment plans.

From early on in my career in medicine, I’ve looked for ways to make my patients feel more comfortable and at ease upon first meeting because I’ve found that it allows for an easier and more natural discussion regarding diagnoses and treatments. I like to help my patients feel empowered and at ease and this enables me to learn more about them.

I understand that radiation therapy can often sound scary and intimidating to many people as it is such an unfamiliar concept, thus I make every effort to describe to my patients what to expect during the course of treatment.

Additionally, I have a strong interest in MSK’s Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance (QA) program and I our regional QA subcommittee.
