We post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.
I am a specialist in Critical Care and have done my residency in Internal Medicine.
My interest in Critical Care started at a young age, admiring my mother’s lifelong dedication to treating critically ill patients as an intensivist herself, and seeing how rewarding it was to see them back to their families. Moreover, I realized its importance when my mother became sick – her health deteriorated due to a severe infection that threatened her life, and she became an ICU patient herself many times. These personal life experiences gave me a better understanding of my patients’ challenges, needs, and feelings while in the ICU, as well as those of their loved ones.

I did my fellowship in Critical Care here at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and trained with world-renowned intensivists with in-depth expertise in oncologic Critical Care.
In our ICU, we treat our patients at their most difficult and vulnerable times of their lives. We do so with the help of incredible advancements in technology and state-of-the-art medical devices to diagnose their problems, monitor and sustain life, and use revolutionary protocols and medications that have been proven to be efficient through rigorous research and the test of time.
Beyond the science behind it, Critical Care also involves the art of balancing the risk and benefits of each intervention we do and recognizing the individual needs of each patient and their loved ones while trying to alleviate their illness, pain and suffering, and this is something my team and I strive for.
