Get to Know Me
I am a medical oncologist who specializes in the care of patients with genitourinary cancers, which include:
I see patients at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers in New York City and Memorial Sloan Kettering Bergen in New Jersey. I prioritize open communication, compassion, and personalized treatment plans that consider not only clinical aspects of care, but also the emotional and personal factors affecting patients. I ensure that patients understand all the treatment options available to them, which may include hormonal therapies, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation, surgery, or a combination of approaches. My goal is to remove the fear, uncertainty, and confusion surrounding the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary cancers.

The EPIC system for scheduling is horrendous. You could really do with improving that. Thank you. Goodbye.
Dr Wynter was wonderful- great communicator, very knowledgeable, very reassuring.
Yes, there's a way, there's something that needs to be improved. They're making appointments without calling me first and asking me if I have the time available. And I, you know, I've been having to drive an hour and a half away to get there and I have to take off from work and I have patients of my own to see. So nobody's communicating by phone. Everything's online. If I don't get to my email, I don't even know I have an appointment. And also, the appointments, we had made a bargain that the appointments would be after 12 o'clock on Fridays and they kept mixing up that schedule. I was confused and frustrated and, you know, finally it got straightened out but then it got messed up again. So I don't know if that's lack of communication, a new system or whatever, but it was not okay with me. I waited eight hours to get my chemo one of the days because I was supposed to check in and nobody told me to check in at the chemo place. They told me just the front door. And I sat there for five hours before they realized I was sitting there.
Dr Wynter was great!! The rest of the care team was also. I'm sorry to hear Dr Wynter will going to another facility.
A very professional doctor.
