What I Do at MSK

I am a board-certified radiologist. I have been practicing radiology for more than 20 years and have been at MSK since 2006. I am an expert inCT and ultrasound for diagnosing, staging, and planning treatment for people with cancer. My areas of interest include thyroid cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal and urinary tract cancers, and gynecologic imaging.

I serve on several research committees. On one of these, we work to improve the role of radiologists in drug trials. I am a co-investigator on more than 50 clinical trials. My research interests include drug development and evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of new molecular therapies and new treatments for gynecological cancers.

At MSK, I can constantly grow as an expert in cancer imaging. We see many common and rare cancers that we can treat with new drug therapies in clinical trials. Radiologists, oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists share new information to constantly improve how we care for our patients.

I am very involved in teaching residents at Weill Cornell Medical School and trainees at MSK. In addition, I mentor local premed students to encourage their interest in cancer medicine and research. 

My Role at MSK

A radiologist is a doctor with special training in using imaging to diagnose and treat disease. Imaging includes X-rays, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
