Marsha Reyngold, MD, PhD
Radiation Oncologist
My Role at MSKWe post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.

My clinical practice is focused on the personalized treatment of cancer with radiation therapy with the goal of effectively treating disease while minimizing the risk of treatment-related side effects for each patient. I work closely with my colleagues in surgery, pathology, radiology, and medical oncology to develop a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for each patient.
Some of the treatment modalities offered include multi-beam intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), ablative hypofractionated radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and MR-guided radiation therapy.
My research initiatives include the use of novel technologies, improved integration of therapeutic radiation with other cancer therapies, and biomarker development.
In addition to caring for patients and conducting research I participate in national collaborations aimed to improve outcomes of gastrointestinal cancer patients. I have served on the National Cancer Institute’s Hepatobiliary Task Force, and I am a member of the NRG Oncology Colorectal and Non-colorectal Gastrointestinal Cancer Core Committees as well as National Cancer Center Network Pancreatic Cancer Oncology Guideline expert panel.
A radiation oncologist is a cancer doctor with special training in using radiation therapy (RT) to treat cancer with radiation.
