We post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.
I am a hospitalist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center who cares for patients who are admitted to the hospital with medical issues related to cancer such as pain, infection, organ failure, and chemotherapy-induced side effects. I serve as these patients’ primary physician overnight.
I work to deliver the best care for these patients by creating an evidence-based and patient-centered plan that addresses any acute illnesses and/or chronic comorbidities, coordinating care with specialty team members, and ultimately, supporting a safe transition to the primary day team. When developing a therapeutic plan, I take a holistic care approach centered on the patient’s values, psychosocial factors, and quality-of-life objectives. My additional areas of interest include end-of-life care and medical education.
