Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified radiation oncologist. While I have treated a wide variety of cancers throughout my time at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I specialize in brain tumors (primary brain tumors and brain metastases), gastrointestinal cancers (esophagus, stomach, colorectal, anal, pancreas, liver, and biliary), breast cancer, and metastatic disease (bone metastases, including spine metastases).

I had the good fortune to be part of the team that opened MSK Westchester, where I now see more than 500 new patients a year.

I discovered radiation oncology during my final year of medical school. This field of medicine allows me to be part of my patients’ inspiring journeys while also solving complex medical and physics problems.

I am particularly skilled in cutting-edge treatments, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy and image-guided radiation therapy. These advanced radiation techniques allow us to deliver treatments more precisely targeted at the tumor while protecting adjacent organs, which helps improve results and reduces side effects.

I routinely deliver stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors, ablative dose radiotherapy for pancreas and liver cancers, and stereotactic body radiotherapy for bone and spine metastases.

One of the privileges of working at MSK is being part of our research team and offering national and institutional clinical trials to patients. I take pride in collaborating with my world-class colleagues to deliver an integrated team approach.

Our Westchester facility is a unique place. What makes it so special is the breadth of MSK departmental services offered and the professional relationships and friendships I have made, which ultimately benefit my patients.

My goal is to clearly explain the diagnosis and treatment plan to all patients while also making them feel well cared for, both medically and personally.

My whole experience at MSK, from my initial NYC visit With Dr. Kyi, through all my treatments at West Harrison were always comforting. That may sound odd considering I was treated for rectal/anal cancer, but all the MSK employees we encountered, from Parking attendants to Security Guards to Receptionists, cafe workers, Techs, nurses, Social Workers, and doctors all were comforting, smiling, wishing me well each time I had to cross the medical center threshold. My husband and I were very fortunate our hometown doctor encouraged a second opinion before my cancer treatment began. MSK was definitely the place for me to be during the stressful time. Although I still don't like needles, I know I am in good hands any time I need to have bloodwork or scans performed. I've told all of those employees, many times, that they are special people. I hope MSK West Harrison Management realizes this too.
