I am a medical oncologist with expertise in treating breast cancer. As a member of MSK’s Breast Cancer Disease Management Team, I work closely with my colleagues in pathology, radiology, radiation oncology, and surgery to provide comprehensive, world-class care for all of our patients.

After completing oncology and hematology training at MSK, I joined the team at MSK Rockville Centre when it opened, in 1998. In 2019, I became the Medical Site Director at MSK Nassau. My colleagues and I offer a multidisciplinary approach utilizing the most recent advanced treatments in medical oncology and state-of-the-art radiation oncology. We also offer novel chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and immunotherapies as well as genetic testing, which can help individualize treatment. I am proud to be a part of a team committed to providing outstanding care to our patients and neighbors on Long Island. I also see patients at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center, in Manhattan.

As part of our research efforts, we are actively enrolling patients in a growing number of clinical trials at MSK Nassau, allowing patients to receive the most advanced care closer to home on Long Island. We offer a warm, intimate environment, where doctors, nurses, and support staff collaborate with local physicians and facilities to take care of the medical, social, nutritional, and psychological needs of our patients.

Many patients may be overwhelmed with anxiety about their diagnosis and by the complexities of their disease. My goal for the initial and follow-up visits and subsequent treatments is for patients to understand their disease and treatment options. We will spend as much time as necessary to address all their questions and concerns. We will then decide on a treatment plan together. Whether we choose standard treatment or a clinical trial, all of my patients can be assured that they will receive the best care for their individual situation.
