About Me

What I Do at MSK

I am a board-certified diagnostic radiologist who specializes in body oncologic imaging and molecular imaging for people with cancer. My area of expertise is in the interpretation of emergency scans of various modalities, as well as routine body CT, MRI, PET/CT, and ultrasound examinations.

I work closely with our team of urgent care specialists to provide fast and accurate imaging support for people with cancer who are experiencing health emergencies. I also provide imaging consults for our patients receiving inpatient care at MSK.

In addition to my clinical work, I participate in several research projects aimed at improving patient care and applying new imaging techniques for various cancer types. I am also committed to overseeing and teaching our future radiologists during their specialized clinical training at MSK.

I have been interested in the area of oncology since my early years of medical training. I was particularly struck by the burden cancer imposes on patients and their families. I chose to pursue a career in radiology because it is the cornerstone of all other specialties in medicine. It requires the continuous development of new technologies to fight and diagnose diseases, especially cancer. The Department of Radiology at MSK strives for excellence in all areas of cancer imaging. It is a privilege to work with a first-class team of experts to provide our patients with the best care possible.

A radiologist is a doctor with special training in using imaging to diagnose and treat disease. Imaging includes X-rays, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
