Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified medical oncologist who cares for people with breast cancer. Working as part of a team of experts from many different areas, I strive to provide my patients with care that is compassionate, personalized, and based on the most recent medical advances.

Prior to joining Memorial Sloan Kettering, I worked at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, where I established a successful breast oncology practice. I was also involved in the education and training of future generations of oncologists. I am thrilled to be able to continue my work at MSK Monmouth, where we are offering a full range of cancer-related services, including access to clinical trials evaluating promising new therapies for various stages and subtypes of breast cancer.

I have a particular interest in symptom management and quality of life concerns that women with breast cancer often face. Cancer therapies have improved, but side effects from treatment —such as cognitive changes, weakness, fatigue, and sexual dysfunction — can all affect an individual’s overall well-being. To this end, I am collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines to conduct studies that will help us better understand and address these issues.

I understand that receiving a breast cancer diagnosis and undergoing treatment often pose physical, psychological, and financial challenges to our patients. Our team at MSK Monmouth recognizes this difficult journey; we are here to not only treat the disease but also to address all of our patients’ needs.
