Tracy-Ann Moo, MD
Breast Surgeon
My Role at MSKWe post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.
About Me
- Associate Attending Surgeon
I am a surgical oncologist who specializes in caring for women with breast cancer. I have particular expertise in performing nipple-sparing mastectomies for women with breast cancer and those who are at a high risk of developing the disease.
I see patients at MSK Nassau, where I work closely with my colleagues in radiology, radiation oncology, and medical oncology. We ensure that every person we care for receives a cohesive treatment plan that is tailored to their life and their disease.

I was drawn to breast oncology because of my interest in advancing women’s health. I greatly value being able to develop relationships with and care for women who are facing a challenging period in their lives. Breast cancer and its treatments affect a woman’s health and can also affect her body image. Because of advancements in treatment options, we are able to cure many women while helping them to continue to look and feel like themselves.
Receiving a breast cancer diagnosis is difficult for women and their loved ones. As their doctor, I want all of my patients to feel that they have a solid understanding of their disease and treatment plan, and to know that I will be by their side throughout their entire journey.
A breast surgeon is a doctor with special training in surgery on breasts.
