What I Do at MSK

I am a radiation oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I have a strong interest in an academic medicine and research. The primary disease sites that I treat are gynecologic and gastrointestinal cancers.

I am very interested in designing clinical trials and exploring interventions to ensure equitable trial access. I spent my graduate career doing bench research studying the human papillomavirus (HPV) and its role in carcinogenesis in cervical cancer. It was at this time that I realized my interest in oncology, which ultimately led me to my interest in radiation oncology given its essential role in the treatment of all cancers. During my medical residency training, I was fortunate to receive several small research grants to focus on breast cancer research and equity in radiation oncology residency training. I am actively involved in several national cancer societies including the American Society for Radiation Oncology and NRG Oncology.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy salsa dancing and outdoor activities such as kayaking.
