The Critical Care Center (CCC) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was established in 2017 to advance clinical care, education and training, informatics, data management, quality assurance, and research in critical care medicine through collaboration with a multitude of disciplines. Clinically, our goal is to streamline, standardize, and improve the quality of critical care services and care as well as patient flow of acutely ill patients across MSK. The CCC specifically focuses on patients located in the adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Step-Down Unit (SDU), and Neuro Advanced Care Unit (NACU), and very sick patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Our team includes physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses, technicians, residents, fellows, and a comprehensive support staff of respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, occupational and physical therapists, case managers, patient representatives, chaplains, and social workers.
