The Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center offers a one-year Chief Residency position intended for physicians trained in general pediatrics. The Pediatric Chief Resident is vital to resident education, and overall patient care at MSK. They act as an advocate for rotating resident staff and promote interests in conjunction with programmatic needs and functions. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Pediatric Chief Resident will be actively engaged in the clinical, educational, and research activities of the department.

Applicants should be on track to complete, or already have completed, training in an ACGME accredited Pediatric Residency Program. Preference will be given to applicants with experience caring for pediatric inpatients with malignancies or in a critical care setting. Applicants must have completed USMLE Steps I, II, and III. Foreign medical graduates with equivalent qualifications are also eligible to apply and must have completed all three of the USMLE examinations, a CSA exam, and hold a valid ECFMG certificate.
