I am a board-certified laboratory geneticist in clinical cytogenetics and clinical molecular genetics. I focus on using state-of-the-art cytogenetic techniques to identify tumor biomarkers and characteristic chromosome abnormalities that help in the clinical diagnosis, prognosis, and targeted therapy of blood disorders.
My research interest is using next-generation cytogenetic techniques and optical genome mapping (OGM) systems to identify cryptic chromosome abnormalities, which traditional cytogenetic techniques often miss. I am also interested in examining novel tumor biomarkers that could potentially improve tumor diagnosis, treatment, and risk assessment for patients.
