Looking for an experienced Postdoctoral Fellow to join NIH and American Cancer Society-funded laboratory dedicated to gene target identification and drug discovery in soft tissue sarcoma through genetic and functional analysis. The overall goal of the lab is to understand the role of newly identified drivers in the pathogenesis of soft tissue sarcoma so as to identify novel therapeutic targets. The specific role of the successful applicant will be to examine context-dependent activity of the beta-catenin enhanceosome in desmoid-type fibromatosis.
Qualified applicants should have expertise in molecular and cell biology. Experience in CRISPR-Cas9 technologies, high-throughput screening, ChIP-seq, or mass spectroscopy will be beneficial. The candidate should have a strong publication record (1st author peer-reviewed publications) and possess strong spoken and written English language skills. The qualified applicant must possess a PhD.
