Cell Biology Program
The Marilyn Resh Lab
Marilyn Resh, PhD
Cell biologist Marilyn Resh investigates the regulation of protein function by fatty acylation, and the development of Hedgehog palmitoylation inhibitors to block pancreatic and lung cancer.
Memorial Hospital Research Laboratories
Paul Romesser, MD
The Romesser lab studies colorectal and anal cancer with a focus on using radiotherapy to treat disease.
Molecular Pharmacology Program
Neal Rosen Lab Group
Neal Rosen, MD, PhD
Pharmacologist Neal Rosen focuses on understanding biochemical mechanisms underlying phenotypes caused by tyrosine kinase activation in epithelial tumors and developing new therapeutic strategies.
Memorial Hospital Research Laboratories
The Charles Rudin Lab
Charles M. Rudin, MD, PhD
Physician-scientist Charles Rudin focuses on the development and testing of novel therapeutic approaches to lung cancer in preclinical models.
Human Oncology & Pathogenesis Program
The Charles Sawyers Lab
Charles L. Sawyers, MD
Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program Chair Charles Sawyers develops molecularly targeted cancer therapy.
Molecular Pharmacology Program
The David Scheinberg Lab
David A. Scheinberg, MD, PhD
Molecular Pharmacology Program Member David Scheinberg focuses on the discovery and development of novel, specific immunotherapeutic agents and targeted nanodevices for cancer therapy.
Memorial Hospital Research Laboratories
Samuel Singer, MD, FACS
Physician-scientist Samuel Singer studies the genomic alterations that define new targets for therapy in sarcoma. I am a surgical oncologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue sarcoma. I have extensive experience with this group of cancers, and am one of just a few surgeons in the world focused solely on treating sarcoma patients. My years of experience have enabled me to devise surgical techniques that improve the ability to completely remove these tumors. In addition to my clinical sarcoma practice, I conduct laboratory research to develop new methods to improve the diagnosis and treatment of sarcoma. I lead both a National Cancer Institute Specialized Program in Research Excellence (SPORE) and the Sarcoma Genome Project.
Human Oncology & Pathogenesis Program
The David Solit Lab
David B. Solit, MD
Physician-scientist David Solit studies human oncology and pathogenesis, genomics, oncogenes and tumor suppressors, cancer therapeutics, and clinical trials.
Chemical Biology Program
Tan Group 2019
Derek Tan, PhD
Derek Tan’s lab studies diversity-oriented synthesis and rational drug design of probes and lead compounds for chemical biology and drug discovery.
Human Oncology & Pathogenesis Program
Asmin Tulpule, MD, PhD
The Tulpule lab studies how cells compartmentalize critical cellular processes with a focus on biomolecular condensates in cancer.
