The research objectives of the Sarcoma Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering will be accomplished through the following strategic priorities:

• facilitate and expand the development of a sarcoma-specific Pediatric and Adult Clinical Trials Unit
• improve the integration of sarcoma care across the MSK network, including regional sites, and enhance education and support for people with sarcoma and their families
• develop and support clinical fellows, research fellows, and junior faculty pursuing sarcoma research
• expand lab facilities and other resources to facilitate translational research on sarcoma
• support innovative and transformative translational and clinical research that may be considered too high-risk for traditional funding mechanisms
• expand outreach to international patients
