We are always looking for excited, highly driven, and creative young scientists to join our team.
Positions are available for prospective graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the research group of Melinda Diver at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York City to elucidate molecular mechanisms of understudied transmembrane proteins with potential roles in chronic pain and cancer.
The Diver laboratory is equipped with state-of-the art facilities for membrane protein biochemistry, electrophysiology, and structural biology. Our research program is supported by access to high quality facilities for single-particle cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) including a FEI Titan Krios at MSKCC and additional microscopes, resources, and training at the New York Structural Biology Center, which includes NCCAT.
MSKCC is ideally located within the vibrant Tri-institutional community, alongside Weill Cornell Medical College and Rockefeller University, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The community is committed to research training and offers an exciting and stimulating environment for biomedical research. Housing and childcare assistance are available.
