Eligibility
The fellowship training program is dedicated to training future academicians. Candidate selection is based on evidence of both outstanding clinical ability and strong interest in a research career. Applicants should be in an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited pediatric residency program, or a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)-accredited or College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)-accredited residency program located in Canada. Applicants should be board-eligible for certification in pediatrics or certified in pediatrics.

The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship program at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (NYPH-WC/MSK) uses the ERAS application system.
Applicants must:
- Complete all portions of the ERAS application

Provide three letters of recommendation
- Of the three letters, one must be from your program director, service chief, or department chair.
- Provide a photograph
- Complete a personal statement
- Provide an Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate where applicable
Applications are holistically reviewed by the Fellowship Leadership Committee (MSK and NYPH-WC) on a continuous basis during the application period. Your prompt application is encouraged. Selected applicants are offered a personal interview; interviews are conducted from September through November of each year.
